Casino Revenue from Pennsylvania Hits Record high in 2015-16Pennsylvania’s Casinos are doing really well at the ground. The 12 casinos located in Pennsylvania have gained high revenue by their casino, slots and table games. It is almost $3.2 billion in the fiscal year of 2016-16 (it was $112 million above than last fiscal year), which is a great sign of casinos doing well at the moment. The dollars lost by the gamblers in the state rose up to 3.6 percent.

According to the report by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, slot revenue in the state casinos is nearly $2.4 billion (up by 2.3% than previous years revenue), whereas table games revenue is more than $839 Million (up by 8% than last year).

The report states that the casino slots and table games revenue exceeded to more than $3.2 billion in 12 months closing June 30, 2016.

The names of the casinos have done well are:-

Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem got revenue of $228,165,109 (2015-16), which was $203,013,659 in 2014-15 and it is up by 12.39%.

Parx Casino gained 13.18%, Sugarhouse Casino gained 11.04%, Rivers Casino gaines 0.37%, whereas Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack is up by 3.7%, Mount Airy Casino Resort was up by 1.9% than lasts years revenue collection.

Meanwhile Valley Forge Casino Resort’s revenue in 2015-16 was $36,856,291 and it was up by 13.27% than last year’s revenue $32,538,435.

The Meadows Casinos total revenue for the year 2015-16 grown for 9.22% than last year’s and The Meadows Casino saw a growth of 2.85%.

A couple of casinos have not done well and they are Mohegan Sun Pocono (-7.24%), Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course (-2.63), and Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin(-4.75%).

2015-16 total gaming revenue including casino, slot and tables games is $3,227,835,876, whereas it was $3,115,525,984 for the year 2014-15. It means a 3.60% of growth recorded in this current year.
