CEO Frank Freedman Says Four Winds South Bend’s Casino under construction Construction is underway to make Four Winds South Bend Casino a perfect place says Mr. Frank Freedman, the chief executive officer of the project.

The tribal casino would be a great place for visitors and players says CEO. According to the details the casino will be in 175,000 square feet, while gaming floor of the casino will be in 55,000 square feet.

And that simply means the area of Four Winds South Bend Casino will be more than New Buffalo’s casino which is based in about 140,000 square feet.

Meanwhile the first phase of the proposed casino does not include a hotel in it, though Pokagon Band’s application initially talked about 18 story hotel of featuring at least 500-rooms.

Making a statement about this, Tribal Chairman John Warren said you know we have a total four sites, the first phase is out now and rest of the three sites are currently in process and we want them to complement each other.

The Mayor of South Bend Mr. Pete Buttigieg said, it is all about business and that’s why they are making it in phased way like they did in New Buffalo, but we know that jobs and revenue will come to the place.

The casino facility will feature 1,800 e-gaming machines and that means an amount of $2 Million will be generated from the casino per year.

Buttigieg said we have at least 1,200 jobs in South Bend, which is a big number and an additional 700 jobs will be created to meet the challenges of construction work.

CEO Frank Freedman said Four Winds project will include many electronic games in it and will be technically sophisticated, though they do not include table games but they are meant to entertain people visiting here via electronic slot machines and games.

The Four Winds South Bend property will have three bars and restaurants in it. The casino is expected to be completed till early 2018.
