Steven Snyder wins WSOP Circuit at Harrah’s Cherokee for $241,198Steven Snyder, a pro poker player from the US has won the main event of first circuit of World Series of poker for season 2016/17 at Harrah’s Cherokee and collected the first prize of amount of $241,198.

He also collected a WSOP gold ring and becomes the first entrant of 2017 Global casino Championship. This win made him season’s first automatic qualifier to the Global casino championship.

The tournament attracted 804 entrants from various places and generated a prize pool of amount $1,206,000, which means its crossed $1,000,000 guarantee.

This is the second time when he (Snyder) qualified for the championship. He did really well last in last season as well and had earned an at large bid to 2016 Global Casino championship.

Steven Snyder was very happy after this perfect shot of his life. This is the largest victory of the players live tournament career. He said that “I’m not gonna stop smiling for three month”.

The final table of the Main event included some of the top professional of the poker world such as Joshua Turner (who completed his journey, being sixth position for an amount $47,215), Matthew Higgins, and Russell Sullivan.

The first player who hit the rail and booked for ninth place was Gregory Yeager, who made $22,781 from the tournament.

Matthew Higgins was the next man who got busted to eighth position for total $28,691. Scott Stewart, a player who played the main event of GCC 2016 with winner Snyder, made $36,578, being seventh. Another poker pro Joshua Turner becomes sixth position finisher for $47,215.

Fifth, fourth and third positions of the 2016 Harrah’s Cherokee main event belongs to Roger Jones ($61,711), Jim Juvancic ($81,707) and David Aker ($109,625).

Meanwhile the Heads up was among Steven Snyder and Russell Sullivan, but it was Snyder, who did the charisma and took home the title of the first WSOP Circuit of 2016 for $241,198.
